Victor’s Bathroom

Modernized rustic

This project came with the challenge of creating a bathroom in an upstairs landing area, entailing an important plumbing work to connect everything with the bathroom in the lower floor. As a rustic stone wall house with wooden ceilings and a decoration very marked in this style, in this new bathroom we try to maintain it providing in it a little touch of modernity.

A huge range of different types of floor, imitating hydraulic tile, that bring us back to the fifties, are proposed from the beginning. The emphasis on this material gives the bathroom a distinguished look, continuing it on the sink wall. With a little feeling of continuousness and security, the shower floor is a glass mosaic in one of the tones of the hydraulic tile. The walls give brightness and contrast, and at the same time emphasize the rectangular form of the bathroom with a long version of the classic metro tile. In this bathroom project I was able to develop all design details, taking care of all the decorative and custom-made elements such as the sliding door and the shower french door as well.
