Oval Space for
Gandía Blasco

VII International Outdoor
Furniture Design Contest

– Date September 2012
– Client Gandía Blasco
– Type Conceptual

The creation of a pure-line space is the main objective of Oval Space, an idea that implies the essence of chill-out. The usage of materials such as lacquered aluminium or the Gandía Blasco Nowood creates an image with a distinctive air in its curves.

The design of this chill-out space for exteriors has the sum of a series of curves and the most pure lines of Gandía Blasco. Its structure is manufactured with white lacquered aluminium, standard metallic profiles, and built by internal joining pieces.

The exterior is made of white lacquered aluminium, creating a continuity with its structure, and the interior is finished in Nowood, which provides a warm texture. The design is closed with the use of a solar system that adds self-sufficiency to the space to be completely independent.
